Choose the right Madras® glass
Products should be chosen not only on the basis of aesthetic considerations but also in relation to their intended use and where they are to be installed.
Current safety standards, for example, require the use of toughened and/or laminated glass (table 2), whereas energy conservation and acoustic insulation requirements have made double glazing indispensable (table 1).
The Madras® you choose must therefore be compatible with the type of processing it will undergo when being transformed for its end use: cutting, drilling, bending, toughening, assembly in double glazing, laminating, and so on.
Please contact our offices for any information or technical-commercial advice you may require.
